Ticks:
The most common tick found here in the valley is the Brown Dog Tick. There are over 25 different species of ticks that can be found in Arizona. Ticks usually attach themselves around the areas of head, chest, belly, and front legs of the pets. Female ticks lay enormous number of eggs, usually up to 5,000 of them. These massive numbers of eggs are able to incubate in cracks and crevices all around the house. In warm climates ticks can breed at any time, all year around. Ticks are parasites that need to be treated inside and outside the home.
